Hook: Size 8 - 2 steelhead/salmon.
Thread: Black 6/0.
Tail: Red hackle barbs
Body: Black chenille or dubbing (illistrated fly used peacock)
Rib: Medium flat silver tensil
Hackle: Black saddle
Wing: White calf tail

Tying Instructions:

1. Tie on in front and wrap thread base to just before the hook point
2. Tie in a small bunch of red hackle barbs
3. Tie in flat silver tinsel and black chenille
4. Wrap chenille forward, trim and tie off
5. Wrap tinsel over chenille, secure and trim
6. Tie in 1 black saddle hackle, make 2 0r 3 warps, secure and trim
7. Wrap thread back slightly, while stroking hackle fibers back
8. Tie in white calf tail on top as wing. Wing should extend past body
9. Form a small head, whip finish and cement.
